Real Estate and Facility Management, Specialization Course

The module gives specialization within the field of Real Estate and Facility Management. The theory part forms a foundation of the specialization project work, and is closely linked to the project topic.
Main topics are: Management and development of Real Estate, renovation and preservation of buildings, waste, energy and environment, real estate management, facility management, service level agreements, roles, organization and legislation.

To convey in-depth knowledge, both theoretical and practical, in a confined field within refurbishment and renovation of buildings, Real Estate and Facility Management.

The teaching in the theory modules may be given as lectures, seminars, laboratory teaching or supervised self study. Exercises may be included. Portfolio assessment is the basis for the grade in the course. The portfolio includes an oral exam (50%) and exercises (50%). The results for the parts are given in %-scores, while the entire portfolio is assigned a letter grade. Late examination will be held within the examination term.
