Management, Development and Transformation of Existing Buildings, Specialization Project

The project topic may be of a reviewing or research type, connected to a specific building or refurbishment project. A short work shop in how to write a research paper are included. Actual project topics may be property management, refurbishment, development and transformation of buildings, in the context of a community, or neighborhood with certain architectural qualities. The project work will be an individual assignment and done in cooperation with a supervisor as a preliminary study to the Master thesis. Can be done together with another student.

Students will complete a project work within the field. Knowledge: Use scientific methods in the implementation of an independent work in the field. Skills: Students will be able to prepare a project plan with milestones, reporting partial results and write a project report in accordance with established standards. General competence: Documented scientific qualifications through completion of a project report in the field.
