The candidate should have knowledge of:

• Travel behaviour; about driving forces and factors affecting travel behaviour, and about how to collect and utilise travel data.
• Mathematical modelling of transport demand, emphasising personal travels.
• Structure and operation of an established transport model.

Skills

The candidate is able to:

• Analyse the results from a travel survey
• Estimate the effects of infrastructural and political measures, including parking policies and road pricing
• Use an established transport model to perform simple analyses

General competence

The candidate can:

• Comprehend and present transport related topics to others
• Document systematical project work through report writing
• Handle great amounts of data
• Approach the discurse in transportation planning, both the public and the professional, with critical curiosity.
