Learning outcomes

After completing the course, the student is supposed to have the following:

Knowledge: - Have advanced knowledge about the fundamentals and key aspects of Cyber Physical Manufacturing Systems - Understand the effects of Information systems strategy planning, development, implementation and validation - Have advanced knowledge about Systems Architecture, Reference Models and Requirements Management

Skills: - Manage, organize and structure development and maintenance of Cyber Physical Manufacturing Systems - Evaluate and model Cyber Physical Manufacturing Systems regarding to organizational strategic goal and business benefits - Identify and analyze key components in an organizations IT platform and Information System - Ability to model a user-centric view and a data-centric view on Cyber Physical Manufacturing Systems

General competence: - Describe the role of Cyber Physical Manufacturing Systems, Information Systems and IT Management - Understand how decisions about Cyber Physical Manufacturing Systems IT and management affects individuals, groups and organization

Teaching methods

The course will be made accessible for both campus- and remote students. The lectures/seminars in the course will be given on campus and are open for both categories of students when possible through ICT. Lectures that sum up the main issues in the learning modules will also be available on internet through the learning management system (Blackboard). Tutoring including use of e.g. Archimate modeling tools (Archi) is given on campus in accordance to announced times, and through condensed pre-recorded videos when available. In addition there will be a mandatory gathering at either campus or during visit to a relevant manufacturing company. Also supported with ICT if possible. Tutoring is also available on internet or through videoconferencing (such as MS Teams) when suitable. Obligatory work: 3 assignments and 2 of assignments passed Participate in at least 50% of the tutorials
