Content
Innovation as a phenomenon and as a disciplinary object of study: History and perspectives. Entrepreneurship and innovation in an organizational perspective: Prerequisites for innovation, innovation processes, business models and innovation strategies. Entrepreneurship and innovation in a social perspective: Innovation systems and frameworks, globalization and new communication media. Recent trends: Open innovation, disruptive innovation, user-oriented innovation, employee-driven innovation, "lean" innovation. Cultural and structural aspects of innovation. Innovation management
Learning outcomes
Knowledge the student shall:
* achieve insights into innovation as an organized and social phenomena.
Skills - the student shall demonstrate the ability to:
* see how innovation is tied to economic and social development.
Teaching methods
2 hours of lectures every week throughout the semester according to the lecture plan. Seminars 2 hours per week. The organization of the exercises will be presented at the beginning of the semester. Form of assessment: A 5 hour written exam. The course is given in the fall semester.
