Norwegian Language and Culture for International S

Intensive course with beginner’s vocabulary, pronunciation and basic grammar. The spoken, informal conversation will be emphasized. Topics for everyday life: Work and family, traveling, grocery shopping, etc. The Norwegian language in context.

On completion of this course the students will:

-Know the most important principles for grammar and syntax

-Be familiar with Norwegian customs in everyday situations.

-Be able to conduct simple conversations in Norwegian

-Lectures

-Group work

-Exercises

Additional information: The focus will be on oral activities with conversations and discussions about everyday life, studies and work.

Students will be required to give a brief presentation in Norwegian on a topic chosen by the student.
