Communication of Science

The course is compulsory for all PhD students at the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences at NTNU.
Communication of science:

* scientific publications

* communication to the general public

The course should provide knowledge about scientific communication/publications and communication to the general public.
Learning outcome:
After completed the course, the student:
-knows the principles and guidelines for scientific publishing
- knows the publishing process in scientific journals
- has basic knowledge about The faculty of Medicine's dissemination work
- has basic knowledge about journalistic methods
- is able to comunicate their research to a broader audience
- is able to write a press release

21 hours lectures/seminar/group assigments.
