Credits Rewarding Practice

The student her/himself must arrange a company for the internship.

- Project planning, practice plan, progress plan

- Problem analysis and delimitation

- Progress reports / status analyzes

- Documentation / final report

Credit Rewarding Practice shall be an independent work by the student, performed at an engineering company / enterprise. The purpose of the course is to give the student insight and experience that is relevant in relation to the studies. The course consists of an internship that is carried out in the company. A report from the internship period must be prepared.

- The scope of the practice must be at least 15 days.

- A practice plan must be prepared.

- The student must keep a daily log of attendance and work performed.

- The student must submit an internship report / final report as specified in the internship plan.

Both the company and the university must provide a contact person / supervisor for the internship student. The internship is formally approved by signing an agreement between the company, university and student. An internship guide has been prepared for students and companies.

Knowledge:

- How an engineering company / organization is organized or how a research project is carried out.

- Various work techniques and production technical aids or research methods.

Skills:

- Can integrate theory and practice in real engineering work.

- Can compile and deepen knowledge and skills acquired in the studies.

- Can contribute to solving engineering issues.

Competence:

- Has experience in engineers' work tasks and professional practice.

- Has insight into practical issues in work situations.

- Can document the project work in a correct professional / scientific way.

Competence is acquired through active participation in practical and theoretical work in an engineering company / enterprise.
