Philosophy of Science, Research Methods and Scientific Reporting

The subject matter includes the research approaches that are deployed in the field of child and adolescent mental health, understanding of scientific validity issues, design, data collection and analysis, and basic statistical approaches and their application. There is a special emphasis on research approaches that are clinically relevant, and the ethics of research addressed to children, young people and their families.

Å gi studentene en innføring i prinsipper og metoder som inngår i vitenskapelig arbeid. Emnet skal sette kandidatene i stand til å forstå vitenskapelig tenkning og å utføre grunnleggende vitenskapelig arbeid.
