Creativity and Innovation Processes

In this course discovery and learning activities as a way of understanding inter human relations will be central for the development and realisation of potential creativity and relational courage to create the basis for co-creation and innovation processes in groups and organisations. In addition to theory there will be a wholeness focus through tasks and relational processes and exploration process tools for development of ideas and innovation. Through those processes the student will develop awareness and attention to the forces and resistances that follow from biases and assumptions.

Focus areas:
- Recognition of creativity for the individual as a basis for co-worker driven innovation and organisational development
- Relational competence, creative processes, process leadership and innovation culture

Goals for knowledge acquisition: Through active participation the student will acquire knowledge about basic conditions that promote and inhibit creative processes and innovation, and understands the movement from traditional thinking to possibilities and innovation.

Goals for skills acquisition: Through active participation in dialogue based lectures the student will aquire awareness and influencing skills that provides a basis for developing relational dynamics in favour of creative processes that lead to innovation.

Goals for competence acquisition: The student will acquire competencies in understanding and facilitating the liberation of creative potential in individuals, groups and organisations, e.g. co-worker driven innovation as a process from idea to implementation

Dialogue based lectures and different types of learning activities. 5 whole days (of 6 hours), 2 days in the first week and 3 in the last week.
Compulsary assignment with a reflection logg based on the student's own problem formulation, and related to the curricculum. Take a look at blackboard for detailed information about compulsory assignments.
