Individually Selected Texts

In this course the student has the opportunity to go indepth in a spesific area within psychology. The course shall also work as a preparation for writing the thesis.
The student must seek information among the departments activity area and contact a scientific person in order to:

* present a theme for the project

* clarify if this person can be your tuitor within the theme.

Theme and reading list must then be approved by the department/tuitor. Use own formula.
Application deadline, same as for ordinary exam registration deadline: February 15th and September 15th. The reading list must not include required reading for other courses in the clinical psychologist programme.
The course is not allocated to a particular semester in terms of timetabling and can therefore be taken over several semesters.

Knowledge:
The student has knowledge about how to plan and accomplish a theoretical work connected to a paper and practical skills in how to plan and accomplish it.
Skills:
The student is able to come up with background knowledge within a current topic based upon self-study and is familiar with APA.The student can present this knowledge in a structured and clear form.
General comptence:
The student has acquired competence for action, showing initiative, creative reflections and being independent.

Self-tuition with 3 hours tutorial guidance.
