Research Practice - Learning, Behavior and Environment

The student should, within the study period, conduct an empirical or theoretical investigation, for example, a pilot experiment, in order to study the methodology related to the thesis. The theme of this topic for this course should be within the individual development, genetics, nervous system and behaviour. The method in this course is linked mainly to laboratory operations. The work is to be performed under the supervision of the appointed supervisor of the thesis, and summarized in a written assignment of approximately 3000 words. The theme of the work must be approved by the supervisor.

Knowledge: The student has a thorough knowledge of measurement and data collection.

Skills: Students can independently use appropriate research methods.

General competence: Students can communicate in writing the result of their own independent research. The student has practical experience with data collection.
