The student chooses the subject, and a syllabus of approximately 800 pages, for the paper. This is to be approved by the subject teacher and an appointed supervisor. The curriculum cannot include literature used as syllabus in other courses in the program. The student is free to choose an area related to, or not related to the area of the Master’s Thesis.

Extensive knowledge of an area of particular interest to the student.

Teaching semester: Autumn
Teaching methods and activities: Self study.
Examination: Individual paper, approximately 15 to 20 pages, submitted at the end of the semester. Letter grade.
Deadlines: In agreement with examiner and administration.
