Preparation for Clinical Practice I

Preparation to and reflection upon Introduction Practice.
Skills training in work and movement technique I, hygienic principles/ making the bed, assisting with personal hygiene, arranging the meal/special oral care, observation pulse-blood pressure- temperature- respiration, CPR I/first aid, injections subcutaneous/intramuscular, methods of implementation/insertion permanent urethral Catheterization in women.

The student:
- has knowledge regarding basic principles of nursing and conditions for acceptable and justifiable nursing activities
- is able to perform systematical basic clinical nursing assessments, performs basic nursing activities ensuring patient safety.
- has knowledge about principles of performing basic nursing activities and is conscious of the hands as an promotion channel
-performs basic nursing activities during supervision and is
receptive for guidance.

Skills training, reflection in group, simulation, experience learning.

Mandatory coursework requirements.

Possible to retrieve up to 3 different exercises/skills training at "collection-day".
