Distribution of Research

This is a researcher's course on how to communicate your research. You will learn how to adapt your way of communicating according to the medium used and given context: e.g. on the internet, in journal articles, at conferences or when defending a thesis.

The candidate has the following knowledge:

• Communicating research, written and oral, through different mediums, with and at different contexts, ranging from popular science to journal article publicizing.

The candidate has the following skills:

• Recipient focused- and adapted research communication.

The candidate has a general competency in:

• Identifying- and using relevant ways of communicating research.

The course is integrated in the teaching program of The Norwegian National Research School in Teacher Education (NAFOL) and course activities will take place at seminars, both domestic and abroad, over a four-year period. Course activities includes lectures, group-discussions, individual and study group work, and student presentations. A seminar attendance of minimum 80 % is required to pass the course.
