Knowledge:

The student

has basic knowledge in modern maintenance theory, including terminology, maintenance management,maintenance management, concepts, indicators, control systems, analyses, fault analyses, maintenance methods and maintenance optimization. Industry 4.0, Deep Mind Technology, predictive vedics, maintenance 4.0

Skills:

The student

shall be familiar with basic concepts and the most well-known methods and techniques in planning,implementation, analysis and evaluation of maintenance•

•has insight into the most modern maintenance concepts•can carry out simple risk and vulnerability analyses and apply maintenance optimization models

General competence:

The student

•understands how maintenance processes and management contribute to high availability, safety and profitability and thus become an important factor for competitiveness in industrial processes and public administration.

The course is carried out with two sessions of three days each with lectures, group work and discussions. Great emphasis is placed on discussions and the transfer of experience between the participants. Between the two gatherings, there are self-studies with reading syllabus, assignments and guidance via the internet.

If there are less than 10 participants, the course coordinator will decide whether the course will be held.

The course is part of NTNUs continuing education program and has a tuition fee.
