Special education perspectives on student diversity and inclusion in schools

In light of special educational perspectives, students are given the opportunity to analyze, understand, and manage complex interactions related to student diversity and inclusion in schools. Students gain insight into the ideal of an inclusive school and how this requires schools to provide adapted education and special education. Special attention is given to the student-centered and subjective perspective of inclusion, including various dilemmas and ethical issues that arise when students are challenged by the demands and rules of the school.

The theme of the subject is conveyed through dialog-based teaching, with a strong emphasis on practice-oriented and student-centered focus. The methods of instruction will vary between lectures, group work, exercises, seminars, and individual tasks.
