Bachelor's thesis in Scandinavian Studies for teacher training students

Students follow the teaching in one of the elective 2000-level courses in Scandinavian Studies, but take the exam identified by the course title NORD2901 Bachelor's thesis in Scandinavian Studies instead of the regular exam in the elective course. The course contents will depend on which elective course the student chooses to write their Bachelor's thesis in. Students must be as familiar with the curriculum/reading material in the elective course as students who take the regular exam, but are required to develop an independent thesis topic in dialogue with the course teacher.

The Bachelor's thesis replaces the exam in the chosen 2000-level course in Scandinavian Studies.

• can analyze, organize, and communicate their research findings
• can use the theories, methodologies, and discipline-related terminology expected of an independent work of scholarship

In addition, the learning outcome will overlap with that of the course that the student attends classes in.

Students follow teaching in one of the elective 2000-level courses in Scandinavian Studies. Obligatory assignments: Approved topic and outline (half a page). In addition, the candidate must submit the obligatory assignments required for the optional supplementary course he or she has chosen. Topic elaboration is done in collaboration with the lecturer.
