Organ C

In addition to obligatory instruction, the student takes part at in-house concerts and the department's public concerts, and is provided recording practice. The course also includes ensemble- and accompaniment practice.

Compulsory course in Course in Music Presentation:
The course is comprised of selected topics, such as concert arrangement, stage performance, programme planning, performance preparations, communication, the music producer, the critic, audience target group, etc. The student will experience preparation, performance and evaluation through practice connected to the departement's concert series and projects, in addition to her/his own concerts or mediation assignments.
The individual student will submit a project report at the end of the course.

Compulsory course in Organ Knowledge B:
The course is a survey of European organ history.

The individual instruction should, in addition to a development of skills and knowledge of a varied repertoire, focus on promoting the artistic and personal abilities of the student as musician.

Individual instruction - 1 hour pr. week for 27 weeks
Interpretation - Two 1- hour groups for 20 weeks.
Project - various instruction

Compulsory activity: Satisfactory attendance in the compulsory courses in Music Presentation and Organ Knowlegde B.

Compulsory course in Music Presentation:
Instruction: Lectures on selcted topics (see Academic content). The amount of instruction will vary slightly from one year to the next, but will comprise approximately 1 hour pr. week, in addition to supervision related to the individual concerts and projects.

Assessment: Pass/fail based on attendance in the compulsory instruction/lectures and projects. The project report should be submitted by April 30th at the latest.

Compulsory course in Organ Knowledge B:
Instruction: Lectures - 1 hour pr. week for 27 weeks
Assessment: Pass/fail based on written assignments and attendance in the compulsory instruction.
