Secondary Instrument 1

Individual lectures and independent work on the secondary instrument.

The course can be included as an elective in the bachelor's degree in performance music - classical or Masters in Music Performance. The department assigns elective courses to students based on their prioritized preferences, as well as academic and resource considerations.

Lessons that are intended to enable the student to achieve the learning objectives in the course are offered no more than once.

Skills:

The candidate:

• has basic technical and interpretation skills on an instrument different from the main instrument
• has studied relevant repertoire, and has experience with concert activity on the secondary instrument

Knowledge:

The candidate:

• has basic knowledge of the repertoire of the instrument.

Individual instruction on the secondary instrument, regularly throughout the academic year. Participation in concert forum.

The instruction is mandatory and requires a minimum of 80% satisfactory participation.
