Aural Training/Improvisation C

The course aims to mirror music's various means of expression and ability to cross borders of time and genre through performances. Improvisation is essential.

The candidate
-Has a musical understanding and expression funded in methodical and improvisational work with the basic elements melody, rhythm, sound, harmony, and form.
-Has awareness about and practical skills in listening, learning, notation and communication within a broad spectre of musical styles.

1.5 hours of group instruction a week for 24 weeks.
