Molecular Diagnostics

Introduction to fundamental disease processes and how this knowledge transforms into novel molecular diagnostic possibilities. The course will extend from basic molecular medicine to diagnostic techniques and methods already in routine use and still under development. The course will provide cutting-edge information on molecular diagnostics on genetic disease, human cancers, infectious diseases, identity testing and guiding targeted cancer therapy.

Provide understanding of fundamental disease processes and how molecular analysis may give information of diagnostic, prognostic and therapeutic value.
