About this course

Content

This course builds on earlier physics topics from the courses Natural Science 1 and 2. It gives the students in-depth knowledge on some selected topics in physics that are relevant for the society and/or for the students' everyday life. The overarching themes for the topics are decided by the teachers, and the students acquire knowledge about these topics through inquiry-based projects.

  • has in-depth knowledge on inquiry-based teaching and learning methods used in the course

SKILLS

The student

  • can acquire relevant knowledge in physics through inquiry-based approaches
  • can find and acquire relevant subject matter in physics
  • can develop their own experiments and analysis methods and has experience with challenges that may arise in the process
  • can reflect on and analyze the experiences from the exploratory work, both from a student and teacher perspective, and link the reflections and analysis to science didactic theory
