About this course

Content

Basic principles for work with mountains and loose masses. The course has five parts, construction engineering, geotechnical engineering, concrete production, road construction and VA technology.

Learning outcomes

Knowledge:
The candidate should be able to account for the principles of building the road construction and the requirements that are laid down and the basis for quantity calculation.
The candidate should know the principles of drilling and blasting in the mountains, knowing the subject and knowing about different types of construction machinery. Must know the principles of mountain work overground and underground.
The candidate should be familiar with the construction of the WLAN network.
The candidate should know common piping materials used in the VA system.
The candidate should be familiar with the general requirements for the construction of a pipeline. In the geology, the candidate will understand the structure of the soil and the geological processes that take place.
The candidate will understand the use of soil as building engineering material and could see geotechnical problems.
The candidate must have basic knowledge in concrete production.

General competence:
The candidate has skills in the use of professional sources, professional methods, as well as standards for planning, engineering, management, operation and maintenance in construction engineering. The candidate has insight into the importance of good practice and the life cycle perspective of the plant.
The candidate has insight into how we base and calculate how interference in the terrain affects the safety of the construction industry.
