Qualitative Method and Research and Development Activities (R & D)

The subject focuses on traditional qualitative studies that aim to describe and interpret practice and on studies where the researcher is part of developing the practice being studied (R&D activities). Participants will gain insight into designing research programmes, including all the phases, from writing the research question to the finished paper.

The student shall have
- thorough knowledge on qualitative methodology and R&D activities
- skills in reading and assessing scientific work
- skills in planning and implementing qualitative research studies and R&D activities
- ability to critically reflect on practice and implement research studies, and present this verbally and in writing

Instruction will be given as lectures, group work, and student papers.
