Current Issue

The course will be offered at irregular intervals and will deal with specific issues and methods which, for various reasons, are particularly relevant within teaching profession and school research.

Theme, approach and course coordinator may vary. A separate course description will be created for each time a specific theme is offered within the framework of this course code. The course may take place in autumn and/or spring, but only after special announcement. Participants in the course are required to write an individual assignment related to the specific course theme, which they also can relate to their own PhD project. The students may be required/expected to make use of their own empirical material in the coursework or individual assignment.

• The candidate can formulate problems and handle complex academic questions, based on current topics.

The candidate has the following general competence:

• The candidate can carry out own research with professional integrity, and in addition have an independent and critical view on one's own and others' research.

The course will be based on lectures, seminars, and discussions, but other activities and methods of learning may be relevant. The course will be taught in a Nordic language or in English.
