Period of Practical Training and Project Work in Cultural Heritage

This course combines a period of practical training with the writing of a Bachelor's thesis that marks the end of the BA degree i Cultural Heritage Management.

The course is closely tied to different institutions connected to the practical work. The content of the project work will vary according to the different cooperating institutions and the interests of the individual student.

A candidate who passes this course is expected to have the following learning outcome according to the course curriculum, defined as knowledge and skills:

Knowledge:
The candidate:
- Has in her practical training in a relevant institution become familar with organization and working methods in one part of practical Cultural Heritage work.
- Has by writing her bachelor's thesis demonstrated broad knowledge of one particular field of Cultural Heritage.

Skills:
The candidate:
- Has by doing her practical traning period acquired experience in being a part of practical cultural heritage work,and have some training in working with specific tasks.
- Has by writing her bachelor's thesis been trained in applying theory in discussing issues in practical cultural heritage work.
- Has experience in producing a text meeting academic standards.

The teaching combines individual supervision with group seminars.
