Content
Insight into recent theories of gender (feminist studies and theories of masculinity) relevant to the study of Art History.
Learning outcomes
The course aims to provide a general introduction to the newer theories of art history in relation to gender, as well as relevant theory and method.
Teaching methods
Lectures and seminars.
Course requirements:
Seminar with a required 80% attendance.
Students must pass an oral presentation documented in writing (approx. 1500 - 2000 words), before final assessment can be made.

The final assessment is based on a letter-graded four-hour written examination.
Students are required to check the results of their assignments on the department's bulletin boards.
