Multidisciplinary Collaboration and innovation

In this course, students will gain knowledge about interprofessional collaboration and professional ethics, as well as be introduced to innovation and how to develop new initiatives and services for children and young people in vulnerable life situations. Students will work with various forms of interprofessional collaboration, with a particular focus on the field of child welfare.

Knowledge - Students has knowledge about:

• interdisciplinary collaboration concerning children and young people in vulnerable life situations
• innovation and innovation processes
• interprofessional collaboration and the interaction between different sectors
• professional ethics and the importance of discretionary judgment in interprofessional collaboration
• the power perspective
• theoretical perspectives on organization and leadership

Skills - Students:

• understands one's own role and the roles of others in interprofessional collaboration
• is able to reflect on various aspects of power in the role of a helper
• is able to critically reflect on one's own role and responsibility within a broader organizational context

General knowledge - Students:

• understand both one's own and others' roles in interprofessional collaboration

• can reflect critically on one's own role and responsibility in an organizational context
• have knowledge of how digital solutions structure the professional judgment of the professional
