- most common machine components.
- construction and dimensioning such components based on standard rules.

Skills:
- performing calculations and strength analysis on mechanical components.
- producing technical drawings with computer aided 2D drawing tools.

General competence:
- in strength analysis of mechanical components.

Lectures and individual- and group-exercises (mandatory).  
Obligatoriske arbeidskrav:
Mandatory assignments have to be approved before admission to examination.The semester project work is mandatory.
