Selected topics in color imaging

An up-to-date selection of advanced research topics is done by the lecturer each year

On completion of the course, the students will

Possess advanced knowledge within the broadly defined field of color imaging, including methodologies of capturing, processing, assessing, and reproducing color images; with particular emphasis on perceptual aspects

Possess specialized insight and good understanding of the research frontier in selected parts of color imaging

Be able to analyze existing theories, methods, and interpretations, and to challenge established knowledge and practice in the color imaging field

Be able to critically review relevant literature of relevance to the selected topics in the field

Be experienced in acquiring new knowledge and skills in a self-directed manner

Be able to communicate academic issues, analysis, and conclusions, with peers and specialists in the field, in oral and written forms
