Theories and Models in Sport Science

Several theories, models and research designs in both the social sciences in general, as well as sport science in particular, are presented and discussed. Important perspectives, theories and approaches are presented, with examples from studies from Sport Science.

Knowledge – the student shall:
* achieve knowledge of the central models, theories and research designs which are used in the science of sport.

Skills - the student shall demonstrate the ability to:
* see the connections between the choice of models , theories and research designs in the science of sport.

Lectures equivalent to 2 hours per week, seminars equivalent to 2 hours per week.

Whether or not the course will be taught spring semester 2015 depends on the departments teaching resourses. This will be decided autumn semester 2014.
