Specialisation in Quantitative Methods

The course continues to develop and deepen the learning material from SOS3005. The course provides a deeper understanding of regression analysis with emphasis on multivariate and logistic regression analysis. Moreover, emphasis is placed on understanding the assumptions for regression analysis and how the results from the regression analysis can be produced graphically. The course will also include a portion of the index structures and factor analysis.

Knowledge – the student shall:
* be able to implement and analyze data from sports and society with the help of advanced statistical methods.

Skills - the student shall demonstrate the ability to:
* carry out analysis with the help of analysis model in which they have received instruction.
