Knowledge:

learn the concepts and terms in object-oriented programming

learn the use of Integrated Development Environments (IDE,) testing and documentation

 

Skills:

be able to formulate problems and present solutions using object-oriented models and concepts

be able to apply object-oriented modeling and programming to develop applications

be able to develop applications using object-oriented principles

 

Competance:

understand why object-orientert programming is dominating in software development

be able to communicate with his/her peers about object-oriented and imperative programming

understand the importance of structuring and using systematic methodologies while developing software

Teaching methods

Lectures and exercises with supervision. 

Mandatory assignments:

Obligatory exercises which have to be submitted at given deadlines. To get the right to take the exam the student should have delivered all obligatory exercises at the given deadlines and got accepted.
