Innovative Social Work and Interprofessional Collaboration

The focus is on innovations that emerge in the public sector at different levels to address social problems, both nationally and internationally. Society is constantly in development, new needs arise and knowledge-based services are required. Professional development, change strategies, interdisciplinary work and social work are part of innovations in the welfare state. In addition, the use of new technological forms of communication is central. In program professional students in Team (SIT), focus is on innovation and innovation in welfare professions. Interdisciplinary work as resource emphasized. Various perspectives on relevant issues and topics in social work are highlighted through professional development, interdisciplinary cooperation and professional judgment in order to create innovations. The normative basis of the welfare state is also central to the subject. Ethical dilemmas and professional challenges are analyzed in the light of issues such as equal services, workforce such as employment policy, user involvement, social equality and justice in a multicultural society.

–knowledge of key concepts within organizational theory such as New Public Management, governance and theories about the street level bureaucracy
