SHE and Workshop Course

HMSID is an HSE course for Architecture and Design, Department of Design (AD-ID). The course will give students an overview of what HSE is and create a safe, secure and inclusive workplace and place of study. The course provides you as a student with information about risky work, first aid, fire, deviations and more.

HMSID consists of one physical and one theoretical HSE course. The physical consists of an introduction to the workshop, routines, and work areas. The theoretical part is a digital course with an exam in inspera.

The course also aims to make you as a student better acquainted with the possibilities and digital aids available at NTNU.

Students will have basic knowledge in health, environment and safety with emphasis on good practices for practical work in workshops and laboratories.

Students may have good knowledge of security in the areas represented by the specialization modules.

Practical HSE course with compulsory physical attendance
