has an advanced level of knowledge in a relevant professional field regarding the critically ill

has knowledge about research methods and scientific teories that is relevant for clinical research

can search for scientific litterature in his / her own professional field

can write a project plan according to the standards of scientific writing

can present, evaluate and analyze research verbally as well as in writing

can participate in an academic discourse

can take responsibility for planning a research- or developmental project with qualified supervision

There will be a variation regarding teaching methods, alternating between lectures, seminars and students interacting in groups. Student activity will be central, so that the student can be able to develop the necessary level of independence. In seminars the student will present and develop drafts for his / her own project protocol, and in addition to this he / she will also be responsible for giving feedback with regard to their fellow students protocols. 

Compulsory assignment:

The assignment must be evaluated and approved by those responsible for the subject content in advance of the ordinary exam.The project protocol will be presented to a responsgroup established by 3-5 fellow students. This mandatory assignment also includes the participation of the student himself / herself to give feedback as member of a responsgroup. The students participation in a responsgroup will be evaluated as passed / not passed.
