Social Scientific and Humanistic Theories of Health

This course gives an introduction to different social scientific theories and perspectives on health seen in the light of examples from health research in Psychology, Sociology, Anthropology.

The students has acquired knowledge about different social scientific theories and perspectives on health, as well as having developed an understanding that health and disease are social and cultural phenomena.
