Upon passed exam the student should Have knowledge about and be able to explain biological and cellular processes upon cell damage/cell death, inflammation, circulatory disturbances, electrolyte- and acid/base disturbances, hormonal disturbances, growth disturbances and tumors. Have knowledge about and be able to explain how normal and disturbed prosesses in the body can be monitored in body fluids, cells and tissue.

Total expected work load: 230 hours. Tutoring: 5 hours (Problem based learning (PBL) in groups of about 8 students). Lectures 38 hours. Team based Learning (TBL): 15 hours. Self study: 172 hours.
