Greek texts are read and studied.

A candidate who passes this course is expected to have the following learning outcome according to the course curriculum, defined as knowledge and skills:

The student is expected to achieve a deeper knowledge of Greek literature and culture.

Lectures and seminars; essay. The lectures are normally held during a concentrated period of 4 weeks at the Norwegian Institute in Athens. It is not compulsory to attend these lectures.
