• Self-study.

The course consists of an individual theoretical syllabus related to the master`s degree and topics in the field of natural resources management or master's degree in Geography. Syllabus is defined by the students in co-operation with his/her supervisor, and must be approved by the Department of Geography. The syllabus should be approximately 500 pages. It should give a broader scientific understanding, and preferably be of newer date. Reports/grey literature can only be used exceptionally. The chosen syllabus cannot be the same as used in the master`s thesis, program of study or from subjects in lower degree.
