Idea and Project Development

FVP3007 Idea and project development is a course at master's level, where students expand their expertise within idea and project development in the field of film and video production. During the course, students work on developing a specific film project, to be realised as the MA production during the second year of the programme.

Upon successful completion of the course the student has in-depth knowledge of:

• Idea and project development
• Research (documentary / fiction)
• Manuscript development (documentary / fiction)
• Dramaturgy / structure (documentary / fiction)
• Fiction and documentary formats

Skills

Upon successful completion of the course the student knows how to:

• Develop film ideas and projects

Seminar - including supervision and feedback. Written assignments related to the development of the project, as well as oral presentations during the semester.
