Specialization Subject I

The content of the course is connected to fields of research of current interest.

Upon a successful completion of this course, students have
– deep insight into a specific area or thematics within film- studies.
– knowledge of the relevant methodologies an theories of this area and it’s place within film studies
– increased understand of ongoing research at the Department

Upon a successful completion of this course, students are able to
- understand and discuss the methodology and range of this spesific area
- discuss the research findings and mediations up against the research design

Lectures, seminars, screenings, and individual supervision.

More on assessment: The final assessment is based on a letter-graded term paper of about 6000 - 8000 words.

Students are required to check the result of their assignments on the department's bulletin board or on It's Learning.

Students are required to keep updated on relevant information from the department or course director via It's learning and Innsida.

This course is taught in Norwegian only.
