Special Subject

This course explores a topic of central importance within the field of literature or cultural history, or an interdisciplinary topic. The course may build upon themes explored in lower-level courses. A more detailed description of the academic content will be made available in the reading list at the beginning of the semester.

Candidates who have passed this course
- have in-depth understanding of a topic of central importance in literature or cultural history, or an interdisciplinary topic.
- have critical insight into scientific approaches and methods relevant to the analysis of the subject material.
- are able to write substantial analytical and/or argumentative texts on the topic(s) studied in academic English, making appropriate use of relevant theoretical notions and specialist scientific literature from the relevant discipline(s).

Lectures/seminars, discussions, supervision. Students are required to use the course learning platform regularly. Approved obligatory assignments is valid for 2 semesters (the semester in which the approval is given, plus the following semester).
