Debates in British Society

This course will cover social issues in the UK. Different variants will be taught each semester. A more detailed description of the academic content will be available at the beginning of the semester. Please see the department website.

Students should develop an understanding of historical processes, causal relationships, public debate and scientific approaches relevant to the topic studied. Students should also develop written and oral skills and their abilities in academic argumentation.
