Developmental Work Related to Practical Vocational Teaching and Learning Methods 2

The subject will contribute to the master degree students further developing the ability to manage and carry out vocational didactic development work at the student’s own place of work and when carrying out assignments, and also to participate in national and international projects. The subject will contribute to the master degree students developing competence to take part in professional development in their own vocational fields. The content of the vocational didactic development work can usually be attached to other subjects in the master degree studies. Assessment in the subject is by individual written assignment or group assignment that documents the student’s own development work.

The student can:
• Plan, give the grounds for, carry out, assess and document vocational didactic development work independently and in collaboration with others.
• Discuss and assess vocational and vocational didactic development work systematically and on the basis of research
• Motivate colleagues and others to participate in systematic research and development work
• Justify the need in order to carry out and use development work to enhance skills and qualifications and as the basis for technical development
• Further develop the student’s own work through systematic research and development work
