Vocational Competence and Competence Related to Practical Teaching and Learning Methods for Vocational Subjects

The subject will contribute to the master degree students further developing their vocational and vocational didactic skills, through understanding and systematically testing various methods of planning, execution, assessment and documentation. Development of understanding of which methods are appropriate in various contexts is included. Assessment in the subject will be by individual oral examination that demonstrates the vocational and vocational didactic work carried out and the competence gained.

The student can:
• Analyse skilled work and vocational didactic work as the basis for assessing technical and vocational didactic skills and qualifications requirements
• Use and account for work methods that are appropriate in vocational and vocational didactic work and development.
• Apply and give the grounds for various teaching methods and work methods in planning, carrying out and assessing vocational and vocational didactic work.
• Base the work on scientific theory and recent research
• Give the basis for and explain vocational and vocational didactic work in relation to national mandatory guidelines and compatibility with sustainable development in society
• Use the pupil’s interests as the basis for creating motivation and the desire to learn, for various common core subjects and vocational subjects
• Develop and reinforce the motivation and autonomy of those involved through cooperation, participation and delegation of authority in a democratic learning community in school and firm
