Academic Writing and Writing and Learning

The subject is a theoretical and practical introduction to writing processes, styles and providing response in writing processes. It will contribute to the students’ own academic writing and to different approaches to working with writing.

The student
- has knowledge of writing as a process
- has knowledge of specialist language and texts
- has an understanding of the relationship between writing and learning
- has knowledge about various approaches to writing in different contexts
- has skills in academic writing
- has training in using fellow students during the writing process

Lectures, student presentations, group work, written work, response work. Assessment is based on written work.
