Energy and Climate

The course gives a deeper understanding of the subject content in an important topic in natural science teaching. It deals with the question of energy and climate, from both a natural science, social and ethical perspective. The students will gain experience in assessing current methods and teaching aids for this particular topic.

The student
- Has thorough knowledge of the challenges associated with current and future energy requirements and energy use
- Has thorough knowledge of different energy technologies, energy sources and energy carriers and can also discuss how the various energy solutions may influence climate and the environment
