The course is given every second year, next time autumn 2021.

Business applications, IS strategies, workflow, business processes, value and quality of enterprise systems, analysis and modeling of business dynamics

Knowledge: Insight into how strategies and workflow processes across and inside enterprises can be analyzed and improved by means of information technology. Skills: Ability to discuss, describe and evaluate enterprises' strategic aspects that are related to their use of information and communication technologies. Ability to relate IT solutions and architectures to business models and organizational issues. General competence: Ability to evaluate information technology's role in large enterprises and insight into how information technology affects enterprises' activities and collaboration.

Guided self-study combined with seminars and compulsory exercises. The exercises include oral presentations by the students, plus a term paper. The grade in the course is based on an evaluation hat includes a term paper to be presented orally (50%) and a final oral examination (50%). The parts will be given %-scores, while the final grade will be Passed/Not passed.
